The look of natural stone — in one seamless pour
Block paving looks the part until weeds creep up through the joints and the odd block sinks. Pattern-imprinted concrete gives you the same stone, cobble or brick finish with no joints to fail — one ultra-durable slab you lay and forget. From €50–€90/m², built to outlast almost anything.
Price my concrete drivewayOne slab, stamped to look like a fortune in stone
Pattern-imprinted concrete starts as a single reinforced pour, coloured all the way through, then stamped with textured moulds while it's still wet. As it cures you're left with a seamless surface that reads as natural stone, riven slate, cobbles or brick — the high-end paving look without hundreds of joints for weeds and water to exploit.
Plain brushed or power-floated concrete does the same structural job for less if you don't need the decorative finish. Either way the appeal is the same: this is a set-and-forget surface. There's no loose stone to top up, no blocks to re-sand, no rutting — just an occasional wash and a re-seal every few years to keep the colour rich and the surface sealed against the Irish weather.
- Mimics stone, slate, cobbles or brick in one pour
- Seamless & joint-free — nowhere for weeds to take hold

- Set-and-forget — no loose stone, no re-sanding

What you'll pay in 2026
Supplied and laid, by typical Irish installers. Coloured and pattern-imprinted finishes sit at the upper end; plain brushed concrete at the lower. Removing an old surface adds roughly €25–€40/m² in groundwork.

Base & reinforce
We excavate, compact a stone sub-base set to falls, fix steel or fibre reinforcement and form expansion joints to control movement and prevent cracking.
Pour, colour & stamp
Coloured concrete is poured and levelled, then a release agent and textured moulds are worked across the surface to imprint your stone or brick pattern.
Cure & seal
It cures over a few days, gets a final wash and a protective sealer that locks in the colour. Drive on it once cured — no deposit until you're happy.
